That's why I feel better about it. At least they made him run. At Aqueduct, he would've gone :26 and :53 and won under wraps by 12. Goncalves made the mistake of moving up into the teeth of that quick second quarter though.
I'm sure he felt like he had to do something, because the longer you leave him up there alone, the longer the winning margin.
