He contributed pretty much entirely to Democratic candidates, but the co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, described Steve Jobs as an Ayn Rand-style Objectivist, so make of any of that what you will.

Geesh, can we stop the ridiculous assumptions? See Gates, Bill; Buffett, Warren, etc. "Liberals" (as you blindly lump millions of people together in your mind) demonstrably admire accomplishment and wealth creation as much as anybody.

As an aside, Jobs campaign finance contributes are available on the internet.

As someone who lived when it was truly exciting as computers became commonly available (I personally recall a Commodore TS 80), thank you, Steve Jobs.
