Of all the horses on that list with no chance it's a little funny that two horses who came up with negative remarks on this thread were Flat Out and Havre de Grace. I guess the rest were self explanatory.

How about Giant Oak and Ruler On Ice for 3rd and 4th, respectively.

I think favoritism, barring anything happening between now and then, will be between Mo and the filly.

I really don't see either being pounded at the windows, as they both have some question marks about them.

I do believe HDG will see more sentiment at the windows than Mo.

Every horse aiming for this race has serious holes in their form.

If there is a pace collapse and Ruler on Ice is ridden properly I think he can absolutely clunk up for 3rd or 4th.

Default So You Think?

This isn't a race to enter as a spur of the moment, nothing else left to do race. I will take American horses pointing to BCC over SYT, etc.

Does Saturday's Hawthrone Gold Cup eliminate Gaint Oak from consideration or improve his odds based in the trip he got?

It seems to me that if he has the opportunity the Ken Ramsey will send Headache to the Classic.

Any chance this race overfills? If so what are the rules for getting in?

A maximum of 14 starters (with 2 Also Eligibles) are allowed in each of the fifteen Breeders’ Cup races.

In the case of an oversubscribed fourteen horse field, the first horse(s) selected will be the winner(s) of Breeders’ Cup Challenge Races in the corresponding Breeders’ Cup division, the next horses will be ranked at pre-entry based on the total number of Graded Stakes points they have collected during the year until a total of seven horses have been ranked based on Breeders’ Cup Challenge Races and Graded Stakes Points.

The Panel will be free to establish its own criteria or ranking, so that high-quality horses of demonstrated ability will have the opportunity to participate in Championships Races regardless of earlier participation in graded events.

For Headache; a 99 BSF for the race, a win at the distance, a Tapit out of a Woodman mare and a win around two turns at the track.

He makes more sense than many and when he shows up in the gate I'm going to have to take a long look.

Headache has a great chance...to finish 7th beaten 10 lengths or so after being 14th in the early going. Maybe he can outfinish Stay Thirsty in the final 70 yards.

I don't know who said Flat Out has no chance.

If you are referring to me, all I said was that HDG beating him really isn't much of a big deal.

I didn't say you said Flat Out had no chance. You said he "isn't much" and BTW said Havre de Grace would get drowned, both of which I found to be peculiar opinions.
