And instead of betting the 3 to win as a cover I bet a $40 exacta 3/8 to get a bigger kick in the head.

Ahhh, you live, you learn.
Nice run at it though.

One question, what made you like the 8 in the last so much in the last leg, enough to single him in the sequance?

Margolis's stats for 2nd starts(29%) & MSW to MCL((31%) and Beyer that towered over field. Who knew the 3 was so alive until the board opened. That is the problem betting P4 with a maiden race in the sequence.

Guess who i singled in the late P4. Yet another beat in the last 10 yds for a single. That will be 5 in a row

Handicapping question to myself: David why do you constantly waste money on pk 4s when you can't even hit a pk 3?

Answer: I guess I'm just plain stupid.

David,

Thank you for expressing what I've been feeling for a while. It helped to bring clarity to my own situation. I stink.

Because we are all greedy looking for the big payoff. Meantime if I had just boxed my horses in the 2nd I would be looking at a $1,381 tri and a $4,463 super.Instead I am waiting to get beat by a first timer. Up for the meet with a couple of nice P4 hits but I am sure I would have been better off investing my P4 and P6 money in other ways.
