The fact is that businesses need to remain profitable to remain in business. If you cut an expense (like taxes), then the business can continue. Whether the business does relocate is still up to the owners or management, but without profitability, there is no shot at keeping a business here. They will either move or close up. Tax hikes certainly don't help. They accelerate the demise of a profitability-challenged business. |

We are in the worse recession recovery ever. Taxes have never been lower. The top 10 businesses in the United States paid zero income tax last year. Corporate profits were record last year. Our economy is a disaster. Explain why trickle-down theories you are proposing have never actually worked in this country in the past 100 years, and are literally not working right now.
