RIP....he did a lot for racing and his passing diminishes the sport.

Sad news. He played the sport at the highest level and his stable made a great team.

It took me aback to read this. Even though we knew it was coming sooner rather than later, I somehow expected Jess Jackson to live forever. Talk about a life full of passion. I'm sorry he didn't get to see Rachel's foal by Curlin. Having the two of them to race and breed together is a pretty amazing run if he'd done nothing else. He sure made it count, didn't he? RIP.
