I manage some money for a charity that I helped found. For total security, I've used (with the approval of the charity board) no load mutual funds. The profit margin has been extremely good. Sometimes you have to opt for caution instead of greed, and there's no guarantee that anything is going to around in 30 years. We've seen enough companies go belly up in the past few years.
KO is the #1 brand in the world , it will be here Doreen , it's not going to make him rich overnight, but ,if he sticks with them for 30 yrs he will do just fine

WHats the minimum? What if I wanted to start really low till I learned, but I wanted to start right now... How does it work?

I don't know what kind of job you have or who you work for, but most bigger companies offer some kind of 401k plan. If your company does any kind of match, even better, free money.

My job is horrible, they put $ in, but we cant. And its not much. Should I do a 401k on my own?
