Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Kentucky, would rarely if ever finish top 5 in the Big 10 Pac 10, big 12 in any year. Those are pretty much nights off. SEC is the the best conference without question I agree, but there are and always have been doormats in the conference. What makes it best is that their top 7 are always better than any other conference's top 7. Which is I guess what you were saying...so yeah, you're right!

yeah, me and clyde thoroughly went over beforehand Mich State would beat Michigan in our cleve sporty thread. Being 6-0, no probably not.

Disclaimer- I am not a UK fan, I only live here because my wife wants to. I went to a mid-major without a football team and a Big East school. That said, UK is not bad. They are giving Auburn all they can handle right now- and would probably finish in the top half of the Pac 10 or Big 10 this year. Vandy and MSU are pretty terrible and have been for an extended period of time, but that's about it. Tennessee and Georgia are down but they will be back.

I think UK would have a real hard time finishing in the top half of the Big 10 this year. I think it's zero chance they'd finish ahead of Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, which neans they'd have to finish ahead of all of these teams...Michigan, Illinois, Penn State, Northwestern, Indiana to get top half. Penn State stinks this year so that is likely, but finishing 5th would not be easy for them. They fit with all those schools this year I guess.

Can't disagree with that.
