They grow at different speeds, and by late in the afternoon make for a bumpy green. My Dad played Spyglass (the course next to Pebble & they have the same type of greens). Said Spyglass easily has the worst greens he's ever played on for a "big time" course.

![]() Yes, that is right. People are forgetting that they are both public courses and they get a ton of play. Pebble is now the most expensive public course in the country, but it still gets a ton of play. They said it now costs $500 to play there. That is some serious money. Pebble makes $2,000 per foursome.

![]() I remember back in approximately 1991 or so when I forked out $100 to play the Stadium Course at PGA West. I thought that $100 was absolutely outrageous. That was so expensive back then. Nowadays that would be really cheap.
