In other related news to celebrate at TBD, Inez has moved her tack back to Hawthorne.

Buh bye

Wise move... She was ok here but it's tough for a new shooter to draw decent mounts... I'm shocked that Dale Bennett didn't use her more often

The fact that Goncalves took some time off and she still couldn't negotiate better opportunities speaks more to her slug agent than her abilities. I'm no big fan of hers but she was a top 6 rider in this colony - just didn't get much of a chance to improve on that and the fact that the Chicago guys didn't use her much is strange...

They already knew she sucked

I know it's all relative. I just couldn't ever catch her when she did win...so I'm sure that has just a touch to do with my disdain for her.

Anyway, back to the racing. If I can get 5-1 on Linemaker in the 6th, I will take a plunge

You should get it. That race is the best betting race on the card. I have changed my mind several times. I'm sure Clement will take a ton of money and run second, I just can't figure who is going to win.

In the 8th, Da Plane is ready to repeat his opening day wire to wire score....

He thinks she sucks too. It's Spencer that has the crush on her, which is odd in itself

I am no fan either, she is actually absolutely lighting up Hawthorne right now. She is a very nice girl though, she rode Rochelle for us at Arlington last fall and was pretty descriptive, I thought.

As for her agent down there, he is Junior Alvarado's agent here in Chicago, not sure what is going on with him, should be interesting.

What Rude said about not using is kinda weird, I thought for sure Bennett would use her religiously.

Couple of these chalks in the finale look like ripe to play against. Specifically Count Catamount and Profitable.

Count Catamount is a big red flag, esp. at the price he'll go off at. I don't think Profitable will get the play the M/L maker thinks he will.

It's Strut and Stroll's race to win. I can't help thinking that Barbara's Choice may not get bothered on the front end and might find the wire. I am going to use those two.
