Tampa Wednesday 3-10-10

Anybody notice the two brothers entered by Lori Smock in the 9th?
I've seen half siblings in a race before, but not full brothers as an entry. Different jocks named, so it looks like they may both go.

I'm guessing Ness goes with his 30 point Hawthorne juice....err...move up and ruins what looks to be a pretty nice race

In other related news to celebrate at TBD, Inez has moved her tack back to Hawthorne.

Buh bye:tro:

Wise move... She was ok here but it's tough for a new shooter to draw decent mounts... I'm shocked that Dale Bennett didn't use her more often

She sucks

That's a relative description, Kev.....She really wasn't competing against much... The fact that Goncalves took some time off and she still couldn't negotiate better opportunities speaks more to her slug agent than her abilities. I'm no big fan of hers but she was a top 6 rider in this colony - just didn't get much of a chance to improve on that and the fact that the Chicago guys didn't use her much is strange...

If he doesn't win tomorrow, it's time to start the drop down the ladder.

I'm sure they keep trying the turf to try to keep him together, but he runs his best races on the dirt. So I will reluctantly use him vs. the Ness Monsters.

They already knew she sucked:D

I know it's all relative. I just couldn't ever catch her when she did win...so I'm sure that has just a touch to do with my disdain for her.

Anyway, back to the racing. If I can get 5-1 on Linemaker in the 6th, I will take a plunge:$:

You should get it. That race is the best betting race on the card. I have changed my mind several times. I'm sure Clement will take a ton of money and run second, I just can't figure who is going to win.

In the 8th, Da Plane is ready to repeat his opening day wire to wire score....

Yeah, the 6th is a beauty of a race.

Da Plane got away awfully soft in that wire to wire score, don't you think?

Sure, and it should be softer tomorrow going 9 panels. Willie's only worry is going to be Rock and Roll Ronnie Allen getting crazy with Flim Flam.

That's a huge jockey switch on Alpha Bear, but if I'm taking a price in there, I'll take Flitter @ 12-1.

I think you mean the 5th. Im not crazy about betting horses back after efforts like that at 93-1.
