I disagree. You have the #1 & 2 seeds in the NFC and the #1 seed and the Jets in the AFC. The Jets could fall into the hot category, but so could have the Packers (sorry Bob) and the Cowboys.

I disagree as well. 2 number 1 seeds, a legit number 2 seed and a team that went on the road twice and won with defense. "hot" implies breaks. I didnt see any of those teams that are in get an inordinate amount of breaks.

Cool Jets didn't get no breaks?

Your telling me the jets didn't get no breaks? Did we watch the same game. The jets offensive couldn't move the ball. The chargers had numerous penalities including two bonehead 15 yarders for a head butt and kicking a flag! Then rivers showed his true self and threw 2 interceptions, one that gave the jets the ball inside of the chargers 20! Oh and yeah the pro bowl kicker missed 3 field goals! Also 2 minutes to go instead of kicking it turner does an offside kick! With a time out and 2 minute warning to use. He's one of the bonehead head coaches i've ever seen and what do the chargers do give him an extension! Yes jets won it easy. Check the replay!

I guess if you consider stupidity by the Chargers as a break for the Jets than yeah, I guess that's a break. But the interceptions, one was a bad throw that was the result of the Jets pressure and the other was an all pro play. Those aren't breaks, those are players making a play. Kaeding missing the 36 yarder was a break, no arguement from me but he sucked the whole game. As far as Norv goes, maybe he knew that his defense couldn't stop the Jets from getting 10 yards the way that they were both playing in the second half and thought that the onsides kick was his only chance to get the ball back. He was right, they couldn't stop them from the 45 what makes you think they would have stopped them from the 35? Like I said, as much as it hurts you to admit it, just give the Jets some credit.......they truely deserve it for their last 2 performances.

Cool

You won congrats. But I still disagree the one interception landed in his lap. Check the replay. As for not thinking his defense could stop them. Maybe they couldn't. However technically the chargers defense did. The jets went for it on 4th down and made it. Your telling me if the chargers would have kicked it that the jets would have gone for it on 4th down in their territory! No way! Wouldn't have mattered though keading would have missed again probably! Good luck with the colts your gonna need it! lol

I'm not even a Jets fan. As far as the interception, Revis had him covered well made a play to knock the ball away and then had the instincts to grab it out of the air. But you are entitled to your opinion.

As far as the last Jets drive, I really believe that the play calling would have been different, but they would have made the first down if they were deep in their own zone. It just seemed like they figured out how to move the ball against the Bolts defense in the second half and would have got it done, but that's my own opinion.

As far as the Colts go, I'm really not sure. The Jets are playing really well and with a lot of confidence. They really believe and their defense is that good. I personally think that they will eventually need Sanchez to carry them for a few series and I'm not sure if he will be able to. He's seem to struggle in those 3rd and long situations (like the first half in SD). They stayed out of them in the second half and he was much better. He made a couple of great throws in that half. But as long as they keep the 3rd downs manageable and stay within a TD (if they should fall behind) then they definitely have a good chance to go to Miami. But if they fall behind 10-14 at the half, they might have to scrap the running at some point and it will be sqaurely on the #6's shoulders.

Cool

Well see. Just think manning will dissect that defense. You don't need to throw at reavis to win. If they use dallas clark like the chargers did gates look out. As long as manning has time they will win. The jets offense is inept their gonna need breaks in both special teams and turnovers. Will know after sunday.
