If that game didn't smell of a draft position lay down, I don't know what does. They let Eli drive it down the field successively on the first two drives without calling a single blitz?

And then, when there is just a little bit of a spark, you call that stupid trick play right before half. A coach would only call that dumb play if:

A. He was instructed to lay down and not let the team have any chance.
B. He was screwing around and did it out of spite.

Too close to call. I'm sure both teams are happy with the QB's that they have. But right now Eli is the only one with the hardware, but you get the feeling that Rivers day is coming. The guys a gamer.

But he really does need to consult with Mr Tom Brady as far as what to wear in post game interviews. That flannel shirt he had on last week was appalling to say the least.

I'm guessing whatever flannel Mr. Brady had, went into the trash as soon as Gisiele moved in.
