yes but pedro has only pitched out in la , does anyone not believe the cold does not affrect him , it affected him in his younger days , why won't it affect him at 38 ?

hamels started 2 games against the dodgers and 1 game against the rockies and stunk in all 3

the game that blanton started against la was blown by broxton in the 9th , he stinks too in big spots , does rivera have a better chance of winning that game with a lead in the 9th then broxton , what do you think

the 2 wins in cloroado (1 start with lee) had the rockies closer - street blow both games , does rivera blow those games???

my opinion is that the yanks have better starting ptiching than the phillies and while anything can happen in a 7 game series , i think pedro gets shelled tonight , i think hamels gets shelled in game 3 and i think blanton has no chance in a game 4 ....... burnett , petitie could get shelled , gaudin will get shelled , so we could be at 2-2 heading into game 5 or 3-1 yanks heading into game 5 , even if lee wins game 5 , we still have the edge in 6 +7

This just in … Cliff Lee is pretty good. lol

Was HIGHLY entertaining watching him make A-Roid look like the eight hitter on the local high school team.

And how 'bout that Utley … going yard twice with a two-strike count … and on their big lefty, no less.

What's that I hear in the distance…

The Yankees are very good and certainly could win 4 straight. Winning game 1 is big. Every game one winner has won the series this postseason, and the last several World Series'. The series is far from over, but advantage Phils right now for sure. But honestly, do you really think Burnett has any less chance of getting shelled than Martinez or Hamels?? Pettite is a postseason stud...but it is unlikely he goes more than 6...7 is the absolute max for him. The way Hughes and Chamberlain are throwing, that would worry me considerably. That was the big problem last night....the bullpen...has been all postseason minus Mariano.

uh Gales it isnt a 7 game series anymore. It is a 3 game series for the yankees. If they lose tonight it is a 2 game series. If they are down 0-3 it is a 1 game series.

I read where this person did this last year, too. He seems good at this. What a prize he is.

LOL, at least the guy who plays for your team actually looked like he cared. Papelbum didnt appear to be fazed and may have not known it was an elimination game.

Broxton bears a striking resemblance to Erik Gagne, no?
