... he was overwhelmed by the beauty of New Jersey ... and now won't run anywhere else.

That was another reason I knew that barn was a little shaky on the horse...they gave him such a cupcake return in his late seasonal debut, having to ship a horse of his stature to Monmouth Park for a minor stakes race in the Salvator Mile - no disrespect to that race....

They were giving off negative signs all year about this horse...you just had to pay attention at actions and not listen to the bull**** they were telling the media...

As you may have noticed on another thread ...

... talking B.S. to the media ... is now a crucial part of being a success as a trainer ... and Pletcher can ladle it on with the best of them.
