I know this guy that killed my old printer while asking it to print about 200 pages in an hour....

Rumor has it his printer broke, so hopefully his reign of tyranny is waning. If only it could've happened in Louisville circa April '06, perhaps I'd be a totally different person now.

One benefit of buying the online version is it makes the data easier to save for future reference. I've got probably 20 banker boxes filled with DRFs from 1984 to 2000 that I thought were worth saving. It is a storage nightmare. Now, if I need to look up a race that was run at FG in March of 2001, I can find the chart and PPs in seconds.

A couple years ago a company in Mass. was developing a flexible screen the size of a newspaper that you could download data and flip through pages. I tried to find it recently and don't think it made it to the market. With ink and paper costs I think I could pay $500 for something like that and come out ahead.

Anyone hear of it?

When I started reading the Form (and its sister paper, the Morning Telegraph), it was 50 cents, not $5 or more. I live in Lexington and I know of several places to get DRF but I don't bother. I download, 'cap off the computer the day before and make notes about important things I notice about each horse. Then if I go to the track (ours is open only two months a year), I can use the program PPs with my notes instead of the more cumbersome DRF.
