I don't think it's necessarily dire, I just thought "unsettled" was a bit understated. I do not think Clemens has proven he can't play, but I don't believe from what I have read that the organization has much faith in him. As far as the Jeff Garcia type is concerned, not a fan of that type of approach. But, Leftwich, behind a good offensive line, might be the best option. They should have grabbed Chris Simms when they had the chance.
