Yet a woman wouldn't go out with a homeless man. Maybe a few would, but the proportion would be much different than men willing to date a hot homeless woman.

So just because I'm a man, I can't be lazy, marry a rich woman, and not have to worry about anything for the rest of my life?

most women are drawn to men who can provide for them and their future offspring. as for your line about men don't care about a woman, her education, etc-i would say that you're incorrect. like colin said, young women may be 'hot' but you have to be able to listen to them, so he prefers women his age.
and big difference between what you date vs what you marry. i doubt too many long lived marriages went that way because a woman was hot.
