Are all women golddiggers?
 

I was thinking...why do I have to strive for a good job and a good house? If it weren't for the fact that it would impress women, I probably wouldn't care so much. I'd be happy with a small apartment for the rest of my life.

Men don't care if the woman has an education, good family, etc etc. Heck I just want to meet someone hot so I could show her off to all my friends. She could be homeless for all I care.

Yet a woman wouldn't go out with a homeless man. Maybe a few would, but the proportion would be much different than men willing to date a hot homeless woman.

So just because I'm a man, I can't be lazy, marry a rich woman, and not have to worry about anything for the rest of my life?

Well, you could be if you had a big pud and were good looking :)

It all goes way back to "cave men" age.. Woman were drawn to a man that was the best hunter...Had the best furs.. if ya know what I'm sayin' ;)

Yes you can they are called Boy Toy's or the equivalent to a trophy wife ....but everything has it's price. Sounds like you need to broaden your exposure to the species as the goldigger predators are lethal but many a fine
lady is sickened by the fluff no substance sisters that create this sterotype that burdens them all.......Find a partner not a parasite......

most women are drawn to men who can provide for them and their future offspring. as for your line about men don't care about a woman, her education, etc-i would say that you're incorrect. like colin said, young women may be 'hot' but you have to be able to listen to them, so he prefers women his age.
and big difference between what you date vs what you marry. i doubt too many long lived marriages went that way because a woman was hot.

There are only 2 reasons to get married...1, You got her pregnant. 2, shes hot. Otherwise it does not make much sense

Not quite, but close on the first one. It really comes down to having kids. If you have no desire to have children then there is really no reason to get married in most cases. Unless you really luck out and find that someone special that understands and even better likes what you like. Football, Horses/going to the track, gambling etc... I lucked out, but that being said. If (God-Forbid) something ever happened, I would never get married ever again. I do tell her that if it wasn't for her I would probably be walking around picking tickets off the floor at Freehold yelling "anyone know who won the 3rd at Finger Lakes"!?. I joke, but I know how lucky I am.

As far as reason #2. Most of them don't stay hot forever. If that's what you are looking for I suggest that you just live together. It's almost like leasing with the option to buy. And if she starts breaking balls (they all do) badly just terminate the lease.

I have a hard time seeing myself getting re-married. And you talk like the other part that I bolded is a bad thing??:)

Nah...swung by the OTB this afternoon after work. Had a decent afternoon...so just gonna relax tonight and watch some football.

i wouldn't remarry because i can't imagine getting it this good a second time. and the part i bolded, i would have to disagree.
