You could always sleep in Wagner's parking lot. That way you would have the jump on the breakfast crowd. That is of course if your still alive come morning.

Hotels won't exactly be "expensive" anywhere in L-ville in the middle of November. How much are you willing to spend? I can't imagine even the downtown Marriott would be that unaffordable.
