I always call it the mid meet blahs and its this way very often in week number 4. The guys who were aiming for the first condition book(ended on Sunday) have run their stuff and its too soon to run many of those horses back yet. Hence the abundance of claiming races that always fill. There is a carryover today that should pay large to anyone lucky enough to have it but I think the next two days are best spent watching the PGA tournament and then doing prep work on Saturday's DRF for what shoud be a great Alabama card. Even paradise has a few knocks.
Speaking of The Alabama I will never ever EVER forget Silverbulletday and her Alabama. Man, that was one awesome display. I have never seen turn of foot on a filly like before in my life. Simply amazing. The image of her turning home is something that is burned in my memory.
