Andy's opinion will be stronger but I'd say a horse like Tuffend, while he has some upside, might be hard pressed against NY bred N1X company. Please Impress did run well on Saturday but did so in wire to wire fashion on a good rail in a field that really only had two legitimate runners in it.

In TB's there is no set rule about a horse scratched out of a claiming race. You can run back wherever you want. I worked in the standardbred business a long time ago and dont recall such a rule but it is entirely possible that could be that way.

I know it was in Harness racing at least at one time.

There is no rule like that at FL. Usually you have to wait 5 days before you can re enter unless the racing office hustled you to another race..
