We are sub-tropical and it is the rainy season, winter is our rainy season.

You should check our weather before you cap the turf races they have predicted this storm since Monday. We have very severe storms coming in about 1 hour. I wouldn't be surprised if the later part of the card gets cancelled if it is as bad as it is supposed to be and comes in when it's supposed to. We're also under tornado warnings.

My yard and fields are like walking on deep sponges when it rains, still haven't dried up since the last storms.

They've also cancelled Mardi Gras parades for this evening, but that doesn't mean we cancelled Mardi Gras.
