Your list is partially incorrect.

1995 - Thunder Gulch (pp 11)
1996 - Grindstone (pp 4)
1999 - Charismatic (pp 11)
2000 - Fu Pig (pp 12)

2001 was correct... Monarchos won out of pp 16.
