Because of the time differences, what might appear as a night race at Meydan on Friday can be seen in the US fairly early on Friday morning. I've been competing in an online contest hosted by Godolphin that focuses on the Dubai Winter Carnival and have had to make sure that I'm up early on Fridays to check for scratches and make sure my picks are entered. And it live in the Eastern time zone. Our players in Mountain or Pacific time would have even more difficulty. Getting information for handicapping can be challenging - the best source is often the bookmakers in England, which is more than a little ironic. I don't think it lends itself to our contest for several reasons.

No thanks. I'll have to pass on races outside North America and I'm really not all that crazy about races from Woodbine on the Poly. The lack of info on those overseas races is the thing, then again, even if you have info, there will be horses like Magnitude, but even he seemed like more of a sure thing than that horse that finished 2nd to him last weekend.

Incidentally, I think Turfway canceled today because of snow. Should be okay for Saturday?

Indian Hemp, I understood from your post that your choice for Saturday was the full card at Santa Anita. Could you please confirm that or any different choice you have, and I'll then be glad to post the contest threads.
