It all comes down to the money $$$$ these schools make from
playing in bowl games. Playoff system works in Div IAA, 2, and 3.

Only players maybe their for education or some Pac 10, ACC, Big Ten,
Military Acadamies and I hate to say Notre Dame teams.

from what i read, the bowls would still be there--whether they would suffer at all i don't know....but yeah, it is a huge money maker. lsu and dame got 17 mill a piece for the sugar bowl. unbelievable the amount of $ being generated.
