Any cop involved in a shooting needs to be immediately tested for Steroids. Are these increased shootings "Roid Rage"?

some departments have hired people to do psych evals. one dept found that the psychiatrist maybe spent 20 minutes with hirees. another found that their psych was doing the evals over the phone. it was just a way for those clinics to make a few quick bucks.
we have a serious issue with who is hiring and training. we have mental health issues that are largely being ignored. we have troops returning with ptsd and nothing or next to nothing is done. we have police on the streets for years-what is done for their mental well being? over time, when one is confronted daily with the worst of society, that will have an effect.

we owe it to both the police and the citizenry to get this fixed.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/20/politi...sts/index.html

"You're on fire! You're on fire, stupid," an officer could be heard yelling when the man who tried to start the blaze had his leg briefly catch fire. He was then arrested for assaulting an officer, Williams said during an evening news conference, after trying to bat away police seeking to douse the flames.

he might want to find another way to protest, he doesn't seem too good with the whole fire thing.

All fine points. I had a lengthy psych written test to get hired as a security officer (likely the same test that evil Orlando shooter took, but different company), i know this is OBVIOUS but prospective hires are getting around these questions and answering the way they think will get them hired, only to show their true colors later. Again, not all security or cops but some bad apples are slipping through the hiring process and it is becoming more and more dangerous to both the citizens and fellow officers.

that's why they need to actually meet with someone. which is what that one city thought was being done, and then found out it wasn't. and another issue is that too often, when a patrolman shows maybe he is in the wrong line of work, the union or fellow officers, or both, close ranks around that person.
my husband worked with another electrician--a very bad one. he hated working with him. electricity doesn't play. I cannot imagine why a policeman would want to work with an inept officer, that only makes it more dangerous for him and everyone. those guys should be given desk jobs, or something. you have to have the right mentality. you can't take stuff personally, you have to stay calm under pressure. not everyone can do that.

>>>Ken Dean said the real imbalance wasn't with elected delegates but superdelegates, who are elected officials and party leaders. Eight of 10 Vermont superdelegates are men. The complaint offers possible remedies going forward, including adjustments to the superdelegation.<<<

So the *Equity Imbalance* {chortle} wasn't even with the delegates that were replaced, but rather the superdelegates that cannot be replaced....so...they.......oh boy.

At least it helps put their high priority on *Bathroom Equity* in focus.
