NYRA as a company is so totally incompetent that if this were a publically traded company, half the management would be fired and the other half would be in jail. For the betterment of the entire industry, a big broom is necessary to make a clean sweep of the entire organization. Are there a few good, well intentioned people who work there, of course, but their customer service is a disgrace, they treat the horsemen and owners like crap, and the place is run worse than any bottom tier track in the third world. You may say, the devil you know is better than the devil you don't, but to me, in this case, practically anyone else would be a dramatic, drastic, immediate improvement, that is necessary before current management destroys what little remains of once great New York racing.

Actually, I'm not a particular supporter of either of the other bidders, I really just don't like what I see going on out there, and think that some major changes are in order. I do agree that NYRA has to a large extent been screwed over by the politicization of the potential slots windfall, but they are really being done in by their own arrogance.

YOU GOT TO BE CRAZY!!! There are a lot more tracks out there that are more like OTB parlors in this country, than ANY NYRA run track. It's personal with you and NYRA...ADMIT IT, FOOL!!!
