Hard to defend that CC ran better than Tonalist in the Belmont, by about 1.5 lengths. However, anyone saying Tonalist is a better horse than CC must be completely ignoring CC waxing Tonalist in the BCC and at a distance that is actually run in North America. You might as well say VE Day is a better horse than Tonalist if you're gonna say Tonalist is better than CC.
