I myself am stuck in the "sand" lately.... choosing the wrong contender to win.....this is my first contest ever and my goal right now is to survive and finish strong.
I was at Monmouth yesterday and that maiden winner KOMBAT CAT cost me a series of bets....looking back it made sense...bad wagering on my part. Best thing was that just before the race was to go off my friend lets me know that he knows some of the owners in the syndicate for that horse and they were informed by the trainer said he was sending the horse to the lead ( always dangerous at Monmouth especially i short fields...the earlier Stakes on the card was testament to that) to see how she would do ...gate opened and the race was over before after the 1st quarter.
Your other winner JOYA REAL used in the tri a few times with the 9 and 11 who were the other logical choices.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Sounds like you had one of those frustrating days at the track..Never been to Mth...been to Atlantic City (casinos) dozens of times over the years but never made it to AC or Mth track...have 3 net friends that live in NJ and met one some years back..Caesars was my house of choice...Don't want to one-up you but to quote an old First Sgt i played poker with upon hearing me complain about losing with a full house to guy that had straight flush,"whatever happened to you happened TWICE to me"..
Nice chatting but i still can't access the site..assume they will cancel contest for today...good luck everywhere..
