He's rolling like the Crimson Tide ... what he's doing in So. Cal isn't much different than what Pletcher and Ness have been doing at two different tracks in Florida.
To make matters worse -- Baffert is now dropping horses for what I can only assume is to open up stalls for new horses. The horse he won with in the 4th today romped in an open 25K claimer last out earning a Beyer of 87. He stuffed that horse in for 10K right back. No horse in the field had run anything better than a 75 recently. It was a monumental mis-match on paper and the horse won in a complete trot. I wonder if anyone knows how many claims were in on that horse?
