Well, thank goodness the Catholic Church is once again right there to save us from having any fun.

Like most people on this site I like to gamble and drink. But the church does have a good point here because we have all seen WAY too many people trash their lives, and the lives of their families, because of gambling. I even imagine there are plenty of us out there that would love to stop but addictive behavior is tough to overcome.
My only point is although I disagree with anyone telling me what's good and bad for me I do feel that they have the right to give their opinion and we have the right to ignore them.
Without bringing politics into it too much I was wondering how this site, which is filled with Liberals like Steve, have a problem with the Catholic Church making comments like this but have no problem with the Obama crew basically telling us we are to stupid to make our own decisions and big government needs to make them for us.
