Oliver Darcy, a recent college graduate, proposes that students with good grades contribute their GPA to their academically sluggish friends. He argues that this is how the federal government takes wealth from the country’s high wage earners and distributes it to the low income earners.

Reality bullshit. What an idiot student. This countries wealth has measurably done exactly the opposite of what the stupid student contends during the past thirty years: gone from being distributed throughout the population to being concentrated in far fewer at the top of the income brackets.

The first chart on the right shows clearly how the middle class has disappeared, and how real earnings have fallen away over the past 30 years.
