Xpressbet told people that bets weren't made (bet unsuccessful-error 3,) but took money from account balances (bets were made, but bettors didn't know that.) So, obviously people bet much more than they had planned to bet. I think I tried the same little $12 bet 5 times (4 times at Xpressbet, and once at TVG.) At no time was there any indication that I had successfully made a bet at Xpressbet. The bet was successfully made at TVG. I was surprised (actually not that much..they are so poorly run) to see that XPRESSBET HAD CHARGED ME FOR 2 OF THE BETS IT TOLD ME I HADN'T MADE. Only after I threatened to go on ATR, did they give me back the money. Like I said on another thread, this was a stupid $12 bet I made for my mom. For some reason, I wasn't into betting. I doubt they would of given back $300-$1000 etc. It doesn't take long to get a large total going. If somebody had a $200 wager, they could easily try it 2-4 times before giving up trying to make the bet. Some play $1000 p6 bets. That could easily have gotten to 3k-5k. If they didn't give the money back, I would of gone on ATR (if allowed to,) and talked about it. I was lucky that it was only $24, but that's not the point. The point is that Xpressbet is poorly run, and this should never have happened. Not being able to make a bet? That happens. This other stuff happened because Xpressbet is crap.
