![]() Dunkelberger Ties Record for Consecutive Wins
(Charles Town, WV) – With his win aboard Citigambler in today’s 3rd race at Charles Town, jockey Travis Dunkelberger equaled the North American record for consecutive wins by a jockey with 9. The record was established by Albert Adams in 1930 and equaled in 1993 by Anthony Black. Dunkelberger has reeled off the nine consecutive wins at both Charles Town and Laurel, since his mount, Quite Sassy, finished last in the 5th race at Laurel on November 11th. Dunkelberger attempted to break the record today aboard Warm Springs Girl in Race 7 at Charles Town but finished 2nd to end the skien.
