Default Welcome to Philly Mr. Lee

sooo freaking happy right now! Cliff Lee, the reigning Cy Young winner with a 3.14 era this year for four second tier prospects. Didnt have to give up Happ, Drebeck, Brown or Taylor.

Such a better trade then giving up our whole farm and most consistent starter this year for a 33 year old Halladay.

Lee is only owed 8 mil next year. (Halladay 15 mil) And I believe we have a much better chance signing him long term then we would have with Halladay.

cleveland gets a AAA pitcher in Carrasco, 6-9 with a 5 era, jason knapp, the supposed centerpiece with is 2-7 in A ball, a catcher hitting .235 when they have santana, and a shortstop jason donald hitting .231 in the Rookie League.

What a great trade for the Phils. Our playoff staff (knock on wood), Cole "Hollywood" Hamels (who I wouldnt trade for ANYONE when the pressure is on), Cliff Lee, J.A. Happ, and Joe Blanton. Oh yeah, we also have a 3 time Cy Young winner who if he gets his rhythm well can help us out.

AND we also got a right handed batter (which we desperately needed) who had 10 homers, 13 steals and a .250 average.. and in the past 7 games has a .417 average with 3 homers, 6 rbi's.

Ruben Amaro you are the man!

Look out Scuds!
