Honestly, I think it just depends on the horse. It's not isolated to fillies. That was what was funny about it... fillies are definitely moodier (

) than colts or geldings, but I wouldn't say that they shut down after losses. That's just ridiculous. If that was the case, they would shut down after ANY loss whether they were running against fillies or colts.
