at least in terms of buzz. Even Jay Bilas seems to be mailing it in. He hasn't gotten hysterical and started making up words even once. I do think he said 'lengthability" though
I agree, this might be the worst draft ever. There isn't a player in this draft where if I were a GM I would "have to have" him. Even the top 5 are not special players at all. I mean, Derrick Favors, other than the Duke game, did he have a memorable game all season? Evan Turner was a great college player I like him a lot- and his shot to beat Mich was awesome, but is he a bona fide NBA All-Star which is what you should get with the #2 pick in the draft? Seems like he's the kind of guy they always beat on come draft day for not having NBA skills. Paul George is mediocre at best. Someone compared him to Danny Granger- he ain't even close to that.

They lacked the depth they usually have, had a new coach, and the WAC was pretty tough this year with NMSU and Utah State in there. No shame in a T-2nd in that league.

You know what kills guys like this is they cant shoot FT's. As an undersized guy he should be able to use his quickness and athleticism to draw fouls from bigger slower players. But what good does it do when you are shooting 50% from the line.
He's heavier than that. Closer to 240.

That kid from Butler really went 9th? Do the Jazz hate black people or are they just retarded?

What???

I'd draft Scavs if they did this to me.

With the 22nd pick in the 2010 draft The Portland Trailblazers select Shooting Guard Tom "Scavs" Rothstein from Southern Illinois.

Jay Bilas- I have no idea who this guy is but I like the pick. Rothstein has stoutability and his 2 inch vertical is better than it looks

Jeff Van Gundy- What are they doing? I could guard that guy!!!
Only if you spot him a trampoline.

Biggest sleeper of the draft:

Daniel Orton.. it may take a few years, but I think this kid can play.

Iverson was a terrific shooter? maybe he was but he threw up a ton of bad shots.

Doesnt matter though, he's still my favorite basketball player of all time!!

Evan Turner is going to be the best player on his team.. though that might not be saying much.

Do you even remember those teams he played on in Philly? Exactly who else was going to score if he didn't shoot all the time? Aaron McKie? Tyrone Hill? George Lynch? Jumaine Jones? Of course he took some "bad shots," but he was the only source of offense for the Sixers for the bulk of his career.

of course he was. He was the only guy with talent. He hustled more than anyone I've ever watched in sports.

I have just never heard anyone call him a terrific shooter before..

It's just about impossible for someone who's relied on for that much offense to end up with a high shooting percentage, but he wouldn't have been as good as he was if he couldn't shoot. His tiny ass sure wasn't getting all those points on lay-ups.

As it were, I didn't even say he was a terrific shooter. I said Randle was, and that his overall game reminds me of Iverson's.

I know me posting here is unusual, but Bulls trade Heinrich and clear another $9 Million in cap space. Joe Johnson looks like a done deal ( is that a good thing?), but the Lebron rumors are running rampant right now.

If we let Ray go I see no reason we can't sign a max player.

They will still be over the cap. Dont forget that KG, PP and Rondo make 49 mill between them next year. Add Big baby's 3 and Perkins 6 and you are already over the cap.
