NYC OTB are AHoles!
I would like to try to understand NYCOTB's motivation in not "allowing" replays on the NYRA website. What could be the possible penalty for ignoring this? Could NYRA simply set up a youtube like site to put the replays on? This is just mindless that the state would bother to allow such nonsense or even enforce it. How can you prevent a company from showing its own product after the fact?

Excellent. Thanks. Now if they only let me bet Churchill. How funny is it I can't bet Churchill on Twinspires.com.

It is very funny, just wait until their numbers are down on the meet, and Double D will be bitching up a storm with his 24% stock ownership

The six statewide OTB corporations are filled with political patronage cushy jobs. The way I see it is the people who NY'ers elected look at horse players as total degenerates and they figure if they can't watch or listen to the races online at NYRA's website, they will go to OTB and watch and wager.
This is cynical point of view on my part, but having been a NY'er I though state government is a ONE PARTY system. The Republican Party in NY is a farce. When you elect left of center politicians this is what you get.
