Default 6/11: Belmont ($1.1MM C/O)

Enjoyed a strong first half of the Belmont Day card Saturday with 6 straight winners from the Most Likely or Best Value selections before Ventura slowed me up in the Just a Game. The highlight was the $1,180.00 early Pick 4 hit suggested with an $81 play that came in juicy thanks to Best Value runners $43.00 Endless Circle (5th) and $10.80 Piazza Di Spagna (3rd).

Sciacca's Piazza also keyed the $25.75 exacta, $59.25 tri and $697 super, and the exacta of Galluscio's 'Circle' and Exotics Add Dr. W returned $134.00. Rolling P3's using the tabs brought back $52.75 (1st-3rd); $61.50 (2nd-4th); $310.50 (3rd-5th) and $88.50 (4th-6th). Zaftig, J Be K and Megapixel rounded out the rest of the afternoon as top picks on what I hope was a very good day for you!

Remnants of Saturday, besides explanations of Brown's bad day, remain in the form of a $1,180,000 Pick Six carryover on a very tricky card. It is the largest single-day carry in NYRA P6 history. My approach to the fun but murderously difficult sextet below...

BELMONT PARK

POST-SCRATCHES...

4th: NYB-OC/N2X, F&M-3+, 1m (P6, P3)

Most Likely: #1 Love Co 5-2 3rd
Next Best: #2 My Dinah 3-1 WON

5th: CLM/N2L, 3+, 9f-IT (G/S, P3, Super)

#9 Nikkinikkinikki (10-1) and #12 Classic Impact (20-1) deserve some consideration on deep P6 back-up plays...

Most Likely: #2 All in No Outs 7-2 3rd

Exotics Add: #8 Allaboutmack 12-1 6th

6th: S/ALW, 3+, 8.5f-T (P4, P3, DD, Super)

Terrific starter allowance with many here eligible to jump up and steal it including Brown's #4 Romp (6-1)..

Most Likely: #8 Dancing Tin Man 3-1 4th
Best Value: #2 Stormy Mirage 10-1 3rd
Next Best: #7 Personal Good 5-1 8th

Most Likely: #10 Ten Forty 3-1 WON

<$200 P6 Play:

4: 1-2
5: 2-6
6: 2-8
7: 8-9
8: 5-7-9
9: 6-10

2x2x2x2x3x2 = 96 x $2 = $192

<$75 P4 Play:
