Polytrack for this weekend.

Are there any tendencies with polytrack when it is raining, even though it is an all weather track? This weekend is setting up to be an awful one in Lexington - cold and rainy.
Any specific bias develop? Speed usually reigns supreme in the mud, but this is a whole different story.
Any idea?

Yeah, because that was actually a furlong longer than Mary Delaney's winning distance of 6f in the Wishing Well and Queen S. at Turfway... she seems to love the polytrack, though.

There is rain in the forecast for the next couple of days. So we
will see if speed holds on better when it is raining. In the 9th #5
was cheap and quitting pig who held on well at 50-1

Check the charts from the last week of the fall meet when they had very similar weather. While I don't have them offhand, it seems early speed continued to suffer in the wet (early speed really suffered at KEE all last fall...you had very few front-runners win).

This pisses some folks off, but it is a nice angle to use in your favor (and a good chunk of the betting public hasn't seemed to catch on yet).

Heck, the public can't seem to figure out that when there are a bunch of speed horses in the race, they will knock each other out and set it up for a closer. (I cashed nicely on Carmack's Choice).
