![]() Hello Dter's.
I will be making my first trip to Keeneland for this years Blue Grass. Not being familiar with the area I was hoping any of you might offer some advice on where to stay as well as places to eat. Google can only be so helpful. All recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Paul |

Last year I stayed at the Home2 by Hilton, which is relatively new and it was great. The Residence Inn and Courtyard airport are both perfectly fine. |

![]() Go see Andy at Thoroughbred. 1483 Leestown Rd.
The food is fantastic, especially the rib eye. Cocktails are priced right. Place doesn't look like much but you'll be part of the family in no time.

![]() Take a ride out to Old Friends one morning. It is a great way to spend a couple hours. It's maybe 20 minutes from Keenland and the airport.
We always stay in Louisville so I can't help much with food. West 6th is a fine brewery if you like beer. |
