love that he won, but what i'd love even more is if trainers will decide to emulate his career leading up to the derby. he's not a pampered hot house flower at all, with seven starts at two. today was his 12th race.
he's got 'bottom', and i hope it carries him to more successes in the weeks to come!

had a great time today at la downs. the universal groan when the feed for the derby was cut for about 1 1/2 seconds was funny...reminded me of the guy pulling the plug on the movie 'airplane' and making all the lights go out.

one note tho...

la downs-you need more machines in your box section. two at the bottom of the stairs is NOT enough.
