That was the same figure I projected for Ruffian in her debut - albeit that one coming as a 2yo.

Number makes a lot of sense in context with the 1st and 2nd races- which it was 26 and 40 points faster than, respectively- and the winners of those races were 85-90 and 75-78 type animals. I was in the sportsbook and was only casually watching and thought it was the stakes race.

I'm new to the game so please forgive me if this question is stupid... I just have never heard of a figure that high for a maiden and am honestly curious...
