![]() Has a horse ever been claimed for 16K or less - and won a Graded Stakes race next time out?
This came within a neck of happening today in the Grade 2 Tampa Derby - when Crimson Knight had to settle for second in a hard fought battle. The Tampa Derby outcome was an absolute tragedy for gamblers who realized Bretheren was a complete pig - running all 84 figures with very soft trips ... however ... there was nothing even remotely reasonable to play against him with in that spot today. |

![]() 43-1 over 86-1 and the Super pays 19 K... I would say that shows the impact of the Dime Supers for you. How many would have those in the top 2 at 1.00 increment.

![]() They could have included the winner off the Davis. (I used Beamer and Too Experience, but not Watch Me Go.) But the runner up? Uh, doubtful. (Make that impossible.)
