Default thorn song to stud

not long ago, we were mourning his passing upon hearing he had succumbed to laminitis. then, we find that rumors of his demise were exaggerated.

good news, hope he lives a long, happy life.

I'm very happy he's alive, honestly, but pray tell, who would possibly breed to him?

Agree, completely. That is how I felt about Chelokee when he was retired. How it was passed off that he was a viable stud prospect was beyond me. A career dotted with long breaks, stories about constant issues, nagging issues, and then the Oaks day debacle.

Glad he made it through, but they best get the limited minutes plan, cause no one will be calling.

that i don't know. i'm just glad to know he's fully recovered. i doubt he gets much of a book of mares-but at least he's healthy enough to cover a few.

Beautiful picture... I'm glad you posted it.

Glad he's still among the living.

He may have had issues, but he still raced 29 times which is probably top 10 in number of career starts by any stallion retired in the past decade.

He is a millionaire. He is a grade 1 winner. Solid credentials based on what else is being retired to stud.

Just sayin'!
