Default Do you agree with Alan Shuback?

Two stories caught my attention this week:
This one,especially the last sentence,
http://www.drf.com/news/purse-cuts-2...reland-hardest
And this one, from the NYRA site:
http://www.nyra.com/aqueduct/stories/Dec112010b.shtml
I tend to agree with him,in that there is a need for more people in attendance at racetracks. It certainly won't hurt. What are your thoughts?

Without reading either story: it amazes me that Alan Shuback is paid to write about horse racing.

But his pre-BC analysis in the DRF each year is flawless. Has he picked a winner in the BC Turf ever?

Behkabad was a monster!

Without an increase in live bodies in seats at racetracks around the nation, our problems will continue.

I know you were just being cute, but both of those sites are in BIG trouble.

I'm not sure how likely it is to pass, but those sites would be dead.

I agree with you 100%. . . The word "cute" probably sounded like more of a slight than it was meant to. Us young'ns have to stick together.
