Default How come nobody likes Pleasant Prince?

Could have won FLA derby in photo with ICE BOX, throw out Blue Grass on Poly and Derby Trial was too short. If Leparoux (believe he is OK) can find a seam, and gets a decent pace, expect him to hit the board. Why not and the price is right. Should appreciate added ground and if ICE BOX was best in the derby this guy is getting no respect.

“We’re probably not going to win the race. If I was betting, I wouldn’t be going in with both hands,” he said. “I try to be realistic. He’s probably not going to be the first, second, third, or fourth choice. He’s running against some very good horses, many of them more accomplished than us.”

that's ken ramsey, owner of pleasant prince.

Sounds like a case for Dr. Scuds.

He might even correct your spelling for no charge, if you are lucky.

Preakness...Ward said the following
“He is absolutely awesome,” trainer Wesley Ward said at the barn at Lexington, Ky., yesterday. “He doesn’t have a pimple on him. He looks beautiful.

“In his work the other day, he started behind two other horses and finished 10 lengths in front of them at the end. This was as beautiful a work as you’re ever going to see.”

If that track plays like it did today, it would take an incredible effort for him to finish fifth.

No question that inside speed was tough today. You had to be glued to the rail. Pimlico gets that way a lot.

There has got to be a cat joke in here somewhere. I'll leave the part about Ice Box alone (because I bet him out of fear).
