They REALLY want to win Thursday's game and feel like they can't afford any more growing pains with Lowery against Welker. Not that Law's the answer, but he's another guy they can rotate against slot receivers and tight ends.

He's still a descent 6th or 7th D-back. I also think he is D. Revis's uncle, they did play at the same high school.

Yeah, he was Hell Relle's mentor. Law had a weird quote implying that Revis was gonna change his number to accomodate Law, but apparently he was misquoted. Darrelle is way too good to be switching numbers halfway through a season to accomodate someone.

I admittedly haven't been able to watch many games, but by looking at the stat sheets, and seeing all the passing yards they've given up, combined with Lowery making so many tackles, I would suspect he's been struggling pretty badly.

No way to know what Law has left, but he should be in a position to make some plays, and experience can make up for physical limitations.

Revis struggles a little when he has to face strong WR's like T.O. or Dwayne Bowe, but against finesse guys like Lee Evans, Moss, Torry Holt, Chris Chambers, he's as good as it gets.

Lowery started the season great, but has hit a bump in his learning curve. He got called for two unnecessary penalties against St. Louis and he was benched against Buffalo the week before.

This is moreso an indictment of Justin Miller/Drew Coleman/Ahmad Carroll/Pee Wee Herman and the rest of the Jets' nickel corner merry-go-round than it is of Lowery, however. The Jets have been solid against #1 and #2 WR's, but have struggled against #3's and tight ends. That's where Law will likely be asked to help out, because unless he experiences a renaissance, he's not going to be the #2 corner.
