He's a peach. Just what the sport needs.

"Owner Ken Ramsey fined and suspended- by Cindy Pierson Dulay - Jan 19 2005 - The Kentucky Horse Racing Authority has fined owner Ken Ramsey $25,000 and suspended him for seven days for ethical violations over an incident at Turfway Park on December 31. He was accused by owner-trainer Barbara Conner of offering her an undisclosed amount of money to scratch her horse so his horse, who was on the also-eligible list, could draw into a $7500 maiden claiming race. She did not scratch her horse, Mamaroni, and reported the incident to the Turfway stewards. Ramsey's horse, Ken's Cat, did draw in following additional scratches but was not allowed to race after the incident was brought to light"

" Settlement Terms Reached in Dispute Between Reddam and Ramsey - Last Updated: July 26, 2007 - By Ryan Conley and Tracy Gantz - Settlement terms have been reached in the lawsuit between owners J. Paul Reddam and Kenneth Ramsey over an alleged injured horse, one day after a jury trial was scheduled to begin in a California superior court. The dispute focused on the sale of the 2002 colt Big Picture by Ramsey to Reddam July 10, 2005. Reddam claimed, in part, that Big Picture was lame with alleged undisclosed chronic shin problems when he arrived at trainer Doug O’Neill’s Southern California barn July 11, 2005."

"Breach Of Contract Suit Filed Against Ramsey - by Pete Spanos - July 21, 2005 - Central Kentucky veterinarian and equine technology consultant David Lambert has filed a breach of contract suit for unspecified monetary damages and attorney's fees against horse owner Kenneth Ramsey and his Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The civil complaint, filed in Fayette County Circuit Court, concerns Ramsey's two-time grade I winner Roses in May. In the suit, Lambert alleges that he and his company are entitled to "certain bonuses and breeding rights" based on the horse's earnings he claims have not been paid."

Chuck Simon.. Dale Romans.. Lynn Whiting.. Ronny Werner.. and more. ALL unpaid or strung out to the breaking point, and ultimately short-changed by the embarassing Ken Ramsey.

Invite him on ATRAB and ask him to address the state of racing and why he has had so many trainers?

He has a billion dollar net worth it isnt about money perhaps he didn't feel he was getting a fair shake from list above? Who knows? You know trainers would never screw an owner so it can't be that right? Ask Mr Gann about his friend Frankel? Who does more screwing trainers to owners or owners to trainers? Doesn't make Ramsey right but you think that list above is beyond reapproach? Save Cannon Ball who obviously is a man of extreme righteousness.

I don't think anyone wants to hear his BS on ATR.

If you don't like the "shake" you are getting from your trainer, change trainers, call the police, sue the trainer, or whatever needs to be done in a legal, civil manner. Keeping your horses with that trainer and not paying the bills is plain wrong.

No more or less wrong then not getting what you are charged for.. Imagine a trainer invoicing for BS services? "Did you buy magic beans Jack"?

J. Paul Reddam and Kenneth Ramsey have reached a settlement in a lawsuit in which Reddam alleged that Ramsey and his trainer conspired to conceal injuries to a horse that was the subject of a 2005 sale, according to Reddam's attorney.

The settlement was reached on Sunday night, according to Dan Baren, who represents Reddam, one day before a jury trial to hear the lawsuit was scheduled to begin. Baren declined to provide details of the settlement, but said that the horse that was the subject of the lawsuit, Big Picture, is still owned by Reddam.

"It was an amicable settlement," Baren said.

Michael Meuser, the attorney for Ramsey, did not return a phone call on Thursday.

Reddam filed the lawsuit late in 2005, claiming that a horse was administered painkillers before a veterinary examination by Reddam's representative on July 10 of that year. The lawsuit alleged that Reddam's veterinary representative would have detected lameness in the horse if the painkillers had not been administered. Following the inspection, Reddam purchased the horse for $600,000.

The lawsuit was seeking the purchase price plus punitive damages.

What does Ginger Punch have to do with Ramsey? Stronach owns her. Apart from that, he won a billion dollars with Roses in May and still stiffed his trainers.
